As we celebrate Labour Day also on May 1st, students also gave brief about Labour day saying, Labour Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers. Labour Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest. The cherry on the cake was the performance of Vaidehi Kulkarni and Devshree Sonawane, students of high school who performed a art form depicting culture, tradition of Maharashtra.
Principal mam in her motivational speech told the importance of labour day. As we are aware that in India Maharashtra is the only state to have it’s state song, which was played with our heads high. The whole event showered waves of patriotism among every one present over there.
